Expulsion of the Money Changers is issue 6 of 8 in a collector plates series replicating panels of the north doors of the Florence Baptistry. Originally created by Lorenzo Ghiberti in the 15th century, they are replicated here in alabaster by artist Alberto Santangela for Studio Dante di Volteradici.
Hand-cast and hand finished in ivory alabaster in Tuscany Italy. Being hand finished, each piece carries slight nuances. Created in bas-relief and weighing 3 pounds each, these plates are extremely scuptural and are a centerpiece wherever they are placed.
Expulsion of the Money Changers is limited to year of issue and comes to you in original box with all paperwork including Certificate of Authenticity. Box shows shelf wear.
