Simone In White Bonnet is issue 1 of a 4 plate collector series originally painted by artist Mary Cassatt and presented here in fine china by Pickard.
This is a beautiful reproduction of the painting originally rendered in 1903. The colors are intense and the shading is lovely. The pastel strokes are easy to see. The plate is banded with a relief border of hand brushed 24K gold.
Simone In A White Bonnet is limited to an edition of only 7,500 plates.
