This series, Story Of A Country Village, depicts scenes one would expect to see in a 19th century country village. In each plate, you may see the same landmarks, the tall stone church, the grist mill, certain homes.
Every village needs a wedding or two and this plate shows all the excitement of a wedding day. The bride and groom are just climbing in the flower decorated cart, people are still coming out from the church.
