Sadko is issue 9 of 12 in the collector plate series presented by V Paleka Art Studios of Russia. To create this series, Russian Legends, Paleka Art Studions called upon a number of artists and craftsmen of the village of Palekh, descendants of icon painters of medieval times, to create the original exquisite miniature paintings on black lacquer that are now re-created in this limited edition collector plate.
Trimmed in gold throughout, each plate in this series carries a unique gold border trim that varies, yet complement the other plates of the series. Rich ornamentation and brilliant colors is the hallmark of this plate. Russian Legends is a series on the Bradford Exchange.
