Red Foxes is 2nd in the Lenox Woodland Wildlife. This series is presented on the the beautiful Lenox cream porcelain by outstanding wild life artist Edward Marshall Boehm.

We see a family of red fox in their natural surroundings.A few blue feathers lay on the ground, the only reminder of the afternoon meal.

The plate is rimmed in an elaborate banding of gold and cobalt blue designs and limited to year of issue.

The only sign of wear being the back of the plate. For some reason Lenox put gold on rim of the bottom of the plate -the part that sets on the table or against the wall. It is inevitable that there be some sign of wear in this odd place and it is minimal.
